A classic mature Bordeaux from one of Saint-Estèphe’s most respected Cru Bourgeois properties, Château Les Ormes de Pez is owned by the Cazes family of Château Lynch-Bages.

The hot 2003 vintage produced a rich, generous wine with ripe black fruits, cassis and plum alongside tobacco, spice, liquorice and subtle vanilla oak. Now beautifully developed, the palate is full-bodied and structured, with mature tannins, refreshing acidity and a long, savoury finish.

We particularly enjoy this as an excellent example of mature Médoc character and a superb choice for lovers of traditional Bordeaux.
