2021 Mondot is the second wine of the prestigious Château Troplong Mondot, one of Saint-Émilion’s celebrated Grand Crus.
Predominantly Merlot, with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, it offers an inviting expression of the estate’s distinctive terroir. Expect ripe black fruits, plum and blackberry alongside subtle floral notes, spice and hints of cedar. The palate is beautifully balanced, combining generous fruit with fine tannins, refreshing acidity and a savoury, mineral character.
Approachable in its youth yet with excellent ageing potential, Mondot makes a superb introduction to the style and pedigree of Troplong Mondot, and is a versatile partner for roast lamb, beef and mature cheeses.
