The 2023 Ridge Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is a superb example of cool-climate Californian Cabernet, sourced from the renowned Monte Bello Vineyard in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
We particularly like its combination of depth, freshness and elegance rather than sheer power. Blackberry, cassis and plum flavours are complemented by cedar, mint, savoury herbs and subtle American oak spice. Firm, refined tannins and vibrant acidity provide excellent structure and considerable ageing potential.
