The 2015 Puligny-Montrachet from Domaine Leflaive is a superb expression of one of Puligny-Montrachet’s most revered producers.
From a warm yet beautifully balanced vintage, it shows classic precision and finesse. The nose reveals elegant aromas of citrus peel, white peach and acacia, layered with subtle hazelnut and flinty minerality. On the palate it is poised and refined, with vibrant acidity supporting ripe orchard fruit and a gentle touch of oak. The finish is long, pure and complex.
This is a fine example of Chardonnay from one of Burgundy’s benchmark domaines.
