m_mThe 2006 Aalto PS is a powerful, velvety-toned Tempranillo from old vines in Spain’s Ribera del Duero, crafted only in exceptional vintages.

It shows a deeply saturated ruby-purple core and an intensely complex nose — blackberries, plums and damsons entwined with tobacco, dark chocolate, spice and subtle smoky-mineral undertones. On the palate it’s full-bodied, richly textured and structured: succulent dark fruit, mocha and sweet oak spice lead to ripe, generous tannins and impeccable balance. The finish is long, layered and lingering.

This is a wine with serious ageing potential, ideal for cellaring or pairing with robust dishes like grilled meats or slow-roasted lamb.
