Its medium-deep garnet color draws you to a nose of warm cassis, Morello cherries, and wild blueberries. Subtle hints of pencil shavings and bay leaf add intrigue.

On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied and well-balanced. Silky, refined tannins support a lively freshness and a herb-lifted finish.

It matured 14–16 months in French oak barrels, 45% new, enhancing complexity while letting the fruit shine.
