The 2019 Roda 1 from Bodegas Roda is a compelling expression of modern Rioja artistry.

This Reserva‑level red, predominantly Tempranillo with a touch of Graciano, shows intense, deep cherry and black plum fruit framed by fine spices, mineral complexity and subtle oak influence from 16 months in French barrels. It’s medium‑full bodied with polished yet vibrant tannins, great balance and impressive length — elegant now with decanting and capable of ageing beautifully over the next decade or more.

Highly rated by critics, it’s a wine that rewards patience and pairs superbly with grilled red meats or hearty stews.
