The 2023 Cervaro della Sala is the benchmark of Italian white finesse, crafted at the storied Umbrian estate Castello della Sala.
A sophisticated blend of Chardonnay and a touch of Grechetto yields a pale straw-yellow wine with vivid green highlights. On the nose you’ll find delicate acacia blossom, bergamot citrus, lemon zest and subtle mineral flint, gently underscored by vanilla custard, buttered bread and toasted hazelnut. On the palate, it is elegant and refined — vibrant acidity meets a silky, creamy texture, giving way to a long, mineral-inflected, slightly salty citrus finish with hints of tropical fruit and spice.
