From the Herdade dos Perdigões in Alentejo comes the 2022 Esporão Private Selection White Organic – a singular Semillon whose pedigree shows in every pour.
Deep, well-drained granitic-clay soils, vineyard age of over two decades, and organic viticulture deliver grapes of real concentration with superb balance. The wine is barrel fermented in large French oak and spends roughly six months on lees, followed by another half year in bottle.
Aromas of ripe apricot, tangerine and white stone fruit mingle with discreet toast, white pepper and almond. On the palate it’s rich, unctuous and creamy, yet retains freshness and tension; long, persistent and satisfying.
A wine for those who appreciate layered complexity and warm terroir expression.
